The end of Year 3

Wednesday 21st July | 1 comment

We would like to use this opportunity to thank the children in Year 3 for such a fantastic year. Despite the difficulties, the children have shown incredible resilience and determination to succeed. Their efforts both in class and during online learning have blown us away and we are so proud of each and every one of them. Life in a pandemic is much easier and a lot more enjoyable when you have 60 amazing, smiley children to work with!

We’ve learnt our timetables, read books, written amazing stories, grown sunflowers taller than Miss Ellis, dressed as Romans, started fires without a match, built dens, learnt to tell the time, created computer games, choreographed dance routines, read more stories, discussed climate change, read more stories, performed poems and even spoken in French!

We would also like to wish Grace the best of luck in her new school – please keep in touch and send us lots of pictures!

Have a wonderful, well deserved summer holidays! We will miss you all so much!

  1. Charlotte’s mum says:

Wow! What a year the children have had in year 3 learning all of that cool stuff!
Charlotte has loved every minute of it and has shared her learning teaching us lots of things we didn’t know. Congratulations to the year 3 teaching team for their flexibility and resilience during the pandemic, the home learning packs and on-line classes were excellent. You should be very proud of what you have achieved and how you have developed the children in such a unique year. We hope you all enjoy your well deserved Summer break and Charlotte will look forward to seeing all of her friends again in year 4 in September!!!
