Heading back in time

This week in Year 3, we have been learning about The Stone Age. We were very surprised at how long ago it was and how long it lasted! We have been exploring Stone Age cave paintings and enjoyed discussing the different paintings that have so far been discovered. We then had lots of fun creating our own using crayons. Miss Ellis and Miss Chambers let us do this under our desks so it felt like we were actually in a cave! Take a look at our amazing creations…

A letter has gone home tonight about our Stone Age day. This will be held on Thursday 17th October and will be a great opportunity for the children to take part in lots of Stone Age activities.

This week’s special mentions go to Jackson, Holly, Aicha and Aaryan. Keep up the brilliant work!

3E are very proud to announce an extreme learning score of 92% this week – 3C are determined to catch up. Please remember to bring your reading record book to school every day! Homework this week consists of a research learning log and Times Table Rockstars.

Have a wonderful weekend,

Miss Ellis and Miss Chambers
