Rock and Roll

It was brilliant to see all the children in their Rock and Roll outfits today to celebrate Children in Need! Our theme this year linked to Times Table Rock Stars so we had real fun today playing games that improved our multiplication skills.

The children did an amazing job at performing our song ‘Bringing us Together’ today. Year 3 felt the song that we had been learning in our music lessons this term didn’t have that fun, rock vibe so we spent some afternoons this week learning a brand new song. The children did so well to learn all the lyrics and dance moves in such a short space of time!

Keeping the dance theme going…

This half term in PE, some children in Year 3 are learning a dance to the Lion King’s ‘I Just Can’t Wait To Be King’. The children have loved working with Sally (their dance coach) so far and have done well to remember all the moves they have learnt already!

Here’s a sneak peek of the routine the children have been practising.

Special mentions this week go to Hira, Zayn, L.J. and Kaleb.

Have a lovely weekend.
